Kings Game

Last night the boys basketball team was selected to go to the Kings game.  The police department donated a certain amount of tickets to the leagues.  We were happy that the whole team got to go.  It was a mess trying to get the amount of tickets we needed to get for our team and the guy in charge of handing them out gave us enough so that we had extra for some parents to go.  Since Chris, Sheryl and I are the 'team moms' we took them.  I was prepared to buy my own ticket to help drive the boys down since our coach is a young guy with a small car.  Then the other two moms wanted to go too.  It worked so we could have another parent go.  Sheryl was going to drive my car until we got out there and it wouldn't start so we ended up taking hers.  They had a bbq for the boys before the game started out in the parking lot.  Austin found $5 and all the boys wanted to touch it.  It was funny, it was like they've never seen a $5 bill before.  When we got inside we realized our team was split up and half sat on one side of the arena and the other half sat on the other.  We were bummed we didn't get to sit next to each other.  We had some other teams sitting next to us so the boys played with them a lot.  I think the boys all had fun.
